Meet Our Therapists
Jennifer Gossett is a board-certified music therapist and has practiced in the Charleston area since 2012. She received her music therapy training at Charleston Southern University, following a 15 year career as a music educator in public and private schools. Jennifer's passion for working with children with diagnoses such as autism and Down Syndrome is what drew her to the music therapy field. In 2013, Jennifer completed the NICU Music Therapist certification (specialization in working with babies in neonatal intensive care), and became specially certified as a Neurologic Music Therapist in 2017.
Noteworthy Music Therapy provides high-quality professional music therapy services to clients throughout the tri-county area, and Jennifer is honored to work with so many wonderful families, teachers and classrooms through the universal language of music. Jennifer lives in Hanahan with her husband, Kevin, who is also a music teacher, and their children Andrew and Athena (also musicians!).
Abby grew up in the Lowcountry and graduated from Charleston Southern University. During her music therapy internship, she gained experience with a variety of age groups and diagnoses, including toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults with special needs, as well as in the geriatric setting. Abby loves connecting with clients through music and is grateful for the opportunity to work with so many amazing individuals and groups. Abby and her husband Jared, also a musician, live in Ladson. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with family and spending time outdoors.
